Drawing has always been a part of my life whether communicating a concept to a client, contractor or simply making visual notes. Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words!
With a BFA from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University, and a masters in theater design, I began working with retailers eventually creating my own visual merchandising consultancy.
Life drawing returned to me when I joined a group of artists at the LGBT Center in Manhattan. Later, I continued drawing at the Prince St. Project Space associated with the Leslie Lohman Museum of Art. My work has been exhibited at their museum shows and is also part of the permanent collection. Recently, a series of my pastel drawings was hung at the Broward Art Guild. The work is always figurative and highly detailed. I enjoy the challenge of finding the right technique.
Splitting our time between New York’s Hudson Valley and Fort Lauderdale, my husband and I are enjoying our time in the sun!
