Kaduri “Sean” Sassoon
Sean Sassoon is a 48-year-old digital artist, designer, author, and creator born in Miami, Florida. Coming from a rich family tradition of fine art, Sassoon is a third-generation artist. His artistic lineage includes his maternal grandmother, who was a skilled sculptor, and his mother, who studied at the Beaux-Arts in Montreal and was proficient in drawing as well as painting in acrylics, oil, and watercolor. Diagnosed with dyslexia, Sassoon has channeled his unique visual and spatial processing capabilities into both his technical career and his creative storytelling, using his personal experiences to inspire others.
Literary & Creative Achievements
In addition to his visual art, Sassoon is a published author of the children’s book “The Goldphant.” Drawing on themes deeply connected to his own journey with dyslexia, the book centers on embracing one’s personal differences and turning perceived limitations into unique strengths.
Professional Background & Multimedia Design
With a versatile professional background spanning web design, graphic design, video production, video editing, and 3D modeling, Sassoon brings a comprehensive digital skill set to his artistic endeavors. His broad experience in multimedia visual storytelling allows him to bridge traditional artistic concepts with emerging technology platforms.
Creative Focus & Digital Fabrication
Through his creative venture Anomaly Art 3-D (ispy3d.com), Sassoon explores the artistic and technical possibilities of additive manufacturing and digital fabrication. He uses 3D printing to transform digital models into tangible physical art, working across various printers and filament mediums to create distinct sculptures and functional designs. His creative portfolio spans a diverse array of projects, including: Complex Anatomical & Biological Models: Designing intricate, custom 3D prints such as detailed human heart models and marine-inspired artwork like anamorphic and luminescent sea creatures.
Functional & Decorative Sculptures: Creating artistic items such as custom-molded multi-handed candle holders and specialized functional kits.
Custom & Event-Specific Projects: Developing tailored 3D-printed pieces for events, clients, and creative collaborations.
Technology, Process, & Education
Sassoon views modern digital tools not merely as production methods, but as a medium for artistic problem-solving. On his platform, he actively documents his technical workflow—from the nuances of 3D modeling and printer setup to navigating hardware challenges and material limitations.
Beyond crafting physical artwork, Sassoon is dedicated to demystifying digital fabrication technologies for others. He creates educational content, guides, and tutorials covering:
Hardware & Material Selection: Educating beginners and enthusiasts on evaluating 3D printers, software setups, and filaments.
Process Optimization: Sharing insights into 3D modeling, print troubleshooting, and turning client concepts into finished physical products.
Interactive Technologies: Exploring complementary digital tools, including Near Field Communication (NFC) applications, to integrate digital interactivity into creative projects and everyday workflows. By combining a legacy of traditional craftsmanship, literary storytelling, and expertise in multimedia and 3D modeling, Sean Sassoon continues to push the boundaries of creative technology, turning complex digital concepts into meaningful, interactive physical art.
