Christina Prezzemolo
Christina Prezzemolo Crowley is a multidisciplinary artist with over thirty years of experience working in watercolor, oil, collage, and mixed media. Her work explores the relationship between people, memory, and the natural world through traditional and hand-crafted processes. She creates many of her own pigments from botanicals she grows and extracts, and incorporates handmade paper—often embossed with her grandmother’s lace—to introduce texture, history, and personal lineage into her collages. Rooted in observation, craftsmanship, and place, her work seeks to evoke quiet connection, resilience, and a sense of belonging within the natural environment.

“The job of the artist is always to deepen the mystery.” – Francis Bacon
