2026 ArtsUnited’s PROVOCATIVE #1 “VENT or BENT” Visual Juried Art Exhibition @ ArtsUnited Gallery

We’re looking for daring, unapologetic, and uninhibited works of art for two provocative exhibitions this July: (NOTE: You will have to fill out a separate submission form online for each PROVOCATIVE exhibit available on our Calls For Artists page.

• First Exhibit: “VENT or BENT” – “Vent” through creative expression on political, cultural, or personal issues—or to explore the “Bent” side of artistic freedom through provocative, playful, or body-positive imagery.
• Second Exhibit: “TO BE SEEN IN ALL ITS GLORY” – raw, unfiltered, full front, and in-your-face. No holding back.

This is your chance to submit art that will stimulate, intoxicate, excite, seduce— and/or insult, outrage, offend, and provoke. We want bold, brazen, and brave.

We welcome all mediums—including but not limited to painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor & alcohol inks), ink drawing, photography, and sculpture to digital art and mixed media. Whether it makes people blush or sparks debate, we want to see it. We can’t wait to see what you create.

DEPICTIONS OF SEXUAL PENETRATION OR VIOLENCE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. ARTSUNITED RESERVES THE RIGHT TO NOT ACCEPT PREVIOUSLY SHOWN WORK IN AN ARTSUNITED JURIED EXHIBITION, NOT MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS, OR NOT SUITABLE TO THE EXHIBIT.

CALL FOR ARTISTS @ ArtsUnited Gallery

DEADLINE: Monday, June 15, 2026 / 6:00 pm.

SUBMISSIONS: You can submit up to 3 works. VERY IMPORTANT! Label the image(s) of your submitted work(s) First Name, Last Name, Title, Size, Medium & Price. EXAMPLE: Herb-Ritts-MAN HOLDING TIRES-24×36-Photography-995.jpg. Your artwork will not be accepted. If you do not know how to label your images correctly contact us at artsunitedsubmissions@gmail.com.

ENTRY SIZE: Minimum – 8 × 10 , maximum 40 x 60. Submit a brief artist description of each artwork.

LOCATION: ArtsUnited Gallery, 2401 N. Dixie Highway, Wilton Manors, FL 33305.

EXHIBIT DATES: Friday, July 3 – Saturday, July 11, 2026.

INTAKE: Sunday, June 28, 2026 / 1:30 pm. Bring your chosen art to ArtsUnited Gallery.

Be sure and label on the back of each art piece (VERY IMPORTANT) First Name, Last Name, Title, Size, Medium, and Price.

OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, July 3, 2026 / 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Awards ceremony – 8:30 pm.

OUTTAKE: Sunday, July 12, 2026 / 1:00 pm. If you are unable, please arrange someone to pick up artwork(s) on time.

Please note: There is NO storage space at the gallery.

ENTRY FEE: $35—up to 3 artworks. You MUST BE an ArtsUnited member in order to submit your work.

BE PREPARED: If your work has been chosen, you MUST complete the online digital agreement before you arrive to INTAKE. You do NOT have to bring a print of the agreement when you arrive.

DON’T FORGET IMPORTANT!!! Artwork(s) must be clearly labeled on the back with Artist’s Name, Title, Size, Medium & Price (including the 30%). No sawtooth hangers. Artwork MUST BE WIRED and ready to hang! ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!

YOUR ARTWORK MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE LENGTH OF THE SHOW. NO PICKUP before the scheduled time.

COMMISION: ArtsUnited receives 30% of each artwork sale. Make sure to add 30% to your price.

I understand that although every precaution is taken when handling the work, ArtsUnited is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of work. If artwork is sold during the exhibit, ArtsUnited has up to 30 days after exhibit closing to issue payment to the artists for the sold piece or pieces.
