Living in Full Color celebrates the bold spirit of Pop Art, the power of memory, and the enduring influence of LGBTQ+ trailblazers and cultural legends. From neon-drenched aesthetics to reimagined tributes of queer icons, this exhibition invites artists to explore identity, visibility, and joy through unapologetic color and expressive storytelling.

We are seeking vibrant, high-impact works across all visual mediums that channel the energy of pop culture, retro influence, and LGBTQ+ pride—whether through portraiture, abstraction, collage, digital art, or beyond. Think loud, proud, and unforgettable.

DEADLINE: Friday, May 15, 2026 / 6:00 pm.

SUBMISSIONS: You can submit up to 3 works. VERY IMPORTANT! Label the image(s) of your submitted work(s) First Name, Last Name, Title, Size, Medium & Price. EXAMPLE: Vincent-van-Gough-SUNFLOWERS-24×36-Oil-2800.jpg. Your artwork will not be accepted. If you do not know how to label your images correctly contact us at artsunitedsubmissions@gmail.com.

ENTRY SIZE: Minimum – 11×14 , maximum – 40×40. Submit a brief artist description of each artwork.

LOCATION: Island City Cultural Center, 600 NE 21st Court, Wilton Manors, FL 33305

EXHIBIT DATES: Friday, June 5 – Friday, July 10, 2026

INTAKE: Saturday, May 30, 2026 / 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. Bring your chosen art to Island City Cultural Center.

Be sure and label on the back of each art piece (VERY IMPORTANT) First Name, Last Name, Title, Size, Medium.

OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, June 5, 2026 / 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Awards ceremony – 7:30 pm.

OUTTAKE: Saturday, July 11, 2026 / 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. If you are unable, please arrange someone to
pick up artwork(s) on time.

Please note: There is NO storage space at the gallery.

ENTRY FEE: $35—up to 3 artworks. You MUST BE an ArtsUnited member in order to submit your work.

BE PREPARED: If your work has been chosen, you MUST complete the online digital agreement before you arrive to INTAKE. You do NOT have to bring a print of the agreement when you arrive.

DON’T FORGET IMPORTANT!!! Artwork(s) must be clearly labeled on the back with Artist’s Name, Title, Size, Medium & Price (including the 30%). No sawtooth hangers. Artwork MUST BE WIRED and ready to hang! ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!

YOUR ARTWORK MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE LENGTH OF THE SHOW. NO PICKUP before the scheduled time.

COMMISION: ArtsUnited receives 30% of each artwork sale. Make sure to add 30% to your price.

I understand that although every precaution is taken when handling the work, ArtsUnited is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of work. If artwork is sold during the exhibit, ArtsUnited has up to 30 days after exhibit closing to issue payment to the artists for the sold piece or pieces.
