People say you need to look at the big picture. But I have found that looking closely at the details can tell a particular story. My art photography started from a mishap. What resulted from that mistake was a series of extreme close-ups that turned other worldly. I am always seeing shadows, shapes and stories, where most people just see their daily lives. My friends are used to me stopping, backing up to snap a shot. Although most of the time they missed that I even took a photo. The art is out there if you can take a moment to look for it. The small details help make the big picture. My photographs have won awards throughout Florida.
