Paula Boyd Farrington
Paula Boyd Farrington creates mixed media and digital collage pieces blending layered images of hand painted acrylics, inks, or analog collages together with photos and ephemera, using electronic scissors to create glimpses of mystery, wonder, timeless dreams, and gratitude. She calls both South Florida and Grand Bahama Island (where she met her husband) home. Her art is featured on the covers of a series of coffee table photography books celebrating the people and places of The Bahamas. Her work has been shown at group exhibits at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas, at the D’Aguilar Art Foundation and the Hillside House Gallery in Nassau, at The Sanger Gallery and Jag Gallery in Key West, at the Ft. Lauderdale Art Fair on the Water, at the ARTLUCAYA Art Festival galleries, and has been featured in issues of UPPERCASE Magazine.
