Carol Lane

I grew up in Newport, RI and have lived in Old Town, Alexandria, VA; Pawleys Island, SC and currently reside in Delray Beach, FL. Each of these places is on a body of water which is where I am most happy. I started working in watercolor but soon realized I am happiest using acrylics. I have been painting consistently for over 20 years and continue to take classes at the Boca Raton School of Art. My current teacher says I am a realist painter, but I am dabbling in abstracts also. I come from a very artistic family of painters, pianists and singers; none of which I can do proficiently!! My aunt painted and sold watercolors in North Carolina, and my brother Bill, an accomplished watercolorist, continues to exhibit and sell his artwork in galleries. All my artwork is original, and I hope you like them.
