ENTRY SIZE: Minimum – 8 ×10 , maximum – 40×60. Submit a brief artist description of each artwork.

THEME: CARIBBEAN – Celebrate the rich spirit, color, and culture of the Caribbean through art! FLAVORS OF THE ISLANDS is a juried visual arts exhibition showcasing the vibrant essence of island life—its people, landscapes, traditions, and rhythms.We invite artists who are originally from the Caribbean islands or artists whose work reflects Caribbean themes, imagery, and influences to submit their artwork for consideration. Whether your canvas captures sun-soaked coastlines, spirited street scenes, ancestral traditions, or the bold textures of island living, this exhibition aims to honor the stories and soul of the Caribbean.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to Caribbean-born artists or any artist whose visual work explores or celebrates Caribbean culture, history, or environments.All mediums are welcome, including painting, photography, mixed media, and sculpture.Let your work bring to life the flavors—both literal and symbolic—of the islands. From lush tropical palettes to scenes of daily life and celebration, this is your opportunity to showcase your artistic connection to the Caribbean.

LOCATION: ArtsUnited Gallery, 2401 N. Dixie Highway, Wilton Manors. FL 33305

EXHIBIT DATES: Saturday, August 2 – Saturday, August 30, 2025

INTAKE: Sunday, July 27, 2025 / 1:30 pm. Bring your chosen art to ArtsUnited Gallery.

OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday, August 2, 2025 / 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Awards ceremony – 8:30 pm. OUTTAKE: Sunday, August 31, 2025 / 1:00 pm. If you are unable, please arrange someone to pick up artwork(s) on time.

ENTRY FEES: There are NO entry fees to this exhibition. You must be an ArtsUnited member to be in this exhibit. Not a member or need to renew?, go to artsunitedflorida.com/membership.

BE PREPARED: If your work has been chosen, you MUST complete the online digital agreement before you arrive to INTAKE. You do NOT have to bring a print of the agreement when you arrive.

DON’T FORGET IMPORTANT!!!  Artwork(s) must be clearly labeled on the back with Artist’s Name, Title, Size, Medium & Price (including the 30%). No sawtooth hangers. Artwork MUST BE WIRED and ready to hang! ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!

YOUR ARTWORK MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE LENGTH OF THE SHOW. NO PICKUP before the scheduled time.

ArtsUnited receives 30% of each artwork sale. Make sure to add 30% to your price. I understand that although every precaution is taken when handling the work, ArtsUnited is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of work. If artwork is sold during the exhibit, ArtsUnited has up to 30 days after exhibit closing to issue payment to the artists for the sold piece or pieces.

Since there is no artist entry fee. The juried exhibition winners receive certificates.
