2025 ART VISION JURIED EXHIBIT

CALL FOR ARTISTS @Gallery 6 – Broward County Downtown Main Library

DEADLINE: Saturday, December 21, 2024 / 6pm.

SUBMISSIONS:  You can submit up to 3 works. VERY IMPORTANT! Label the image(s) of your submitted work(s) First Name, Last Name, Title, Size, Medium & Price.  EXAMPLE: Andy-Warhol-CAMPBELLSOUP-20×20-MixedMedia-1500.jpg. Your artwork will not be accepted.  If you do not know how to label your images correctly contact us at artsunitedsubmissions@gmail.com.

ENTRY SIZE: Minimum – 11×14 , maximum – 40×60. Submit a brief artist description of each artwork.

THEME: “MEMORIES OF YESTERDAY” explore personal and collective memories—those moments that shape who we are and how we perceive the world around us. Each piece serves as a window into the personal, the universal, and the nostalgic, blurring the line between recollection and interpretation. Open to painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor & alcohol inks), photography, 3D/sculpture, mixed media, ink drawing, and graphic arts.

ACCEPTANCE DATE: By Monday, December 23, 2024 you will be notified by email if your work has or has not been chosen to exhibit.

LOCATION: Broward County Main Library, 100 South Andrews Avenue, 6th Floor, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301

EXHIBIT DATES: Monday, January 6 – Friday, January 24, 2025

INTAKE: Saturday, January 4, 2025 / 11:00 am – Noon. Bring your chosen art to Broward County Main Library. You can park on the parking deck next to the library.  Go to the 2nd floor crosswalk entrance.  Once you enter, go to the elevators and press the 6th floor button.

OPENING RECEPTION: Monday, January 6, 2025 / 5:30pm-7pm. Awards ceremony – 6:30 pm.

OUTTAKE: Saturday, January 25, 2025 / 11:00 am – Noon.. If you are unable, please arrange someone to pick up artwork(s) on time.

ENTRY FEES: $35 – up to 3 artworks. ArtsUnited members. Not a member or need to renew?, go to https://artsunitedflorida.com/membership.

BE PREPARED: If your work has been chosen, you MUST complete the online digital agreement before you arrive to INTAKE. You do NOT have to bring a print of the agreement when you arrive.  DON’T FORGET IMPORTANT!!! Artwork(s) must be clearly labeled on the back with Artist’s Name, Title, Size, Medium & Price (including the 30%).  No sawtooth hangers. Artwork MUST BE WIRED and ready to hang! ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!

YOUR ARTWORK MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE LENGTH OF THE SHOW.  NO PICKUP before the scheduled time.

ArtsUnited receives 30% of each artwork sale. Make sure to add 30% to your price. I understand that although every precaution is taken when handling the work, ArtsUnited is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of work. If artwork is sold during the exhibit, ArtsUnited has up to 30 days after exhibit closing to issue payment to the artists for the sold piece or pieces.
