Gary Dunning (Thread & Acrylic Artworks)

Being an artist has always been in my blood after high school I kinda ran away with the Theater, I don’t regret it one bit.  I have had the opportunity to work with the biggest stars  in Showbiz. I started out designing lights for musicals, it is my forte, but I have worked as stage manager, technical director, and marketing for regional theaters around the country (Resume Available upon Request).  I also received 3 Carbonell Awards Nominations for best Lighting Designs in 1984.  After retirement from the long days and nights of theater, I started using Thread and Acrylic paint to create artwork. In the past 2 years, I’ve been doing art shows all over the south Florida,  what a lot of work.  I have submitted my work for shows at the Broward Art Guild/Artists of Palm Beach County, and Wilton Art Works. I am looking forward to a great experience with ArtsUnited and continuing being a part of the South Florida Artist Community.
